A previously underutilized site is transformed into the community’s central gathering space. Its dynamic floodway is defined by an ecologically rich system of wetlands, riparian, and uplands, flood control, and bird/wildlife habitat. Natural play, fishing, picnicking, and equestrian and pedestrian trails connect residents to nature, while the sculpted amphitheater and shade shelter bring residents together.
