Climbing Boulder Opens in Denver

The North Face, as part of the company's "Walls Are Meant For Climbing" campaign, is working to create more free climbing walls in city parks around the country in neighborhoods where kids face the highest barriers to exploring the outdoors. The first climbing boulder opened this week in Denver’s Montbello Open Space Park. The park is also home to a new outdoor education center, Environmental Learning for Kids (ELK). Mundus Bishop collaborated with ELK, the Trust for Public Land, Denver Parks and Recreation, and local students to develop this learning destination reflective of Colorado’s shortgrass prairie.
